As my crew and I sailed onwards, a current near Malea took us further out to sea
Lotus Eaters
We were running very short of water supply so we took a rest stop. Curious of creatures inhabited the island, I sent two of my men down to investigate. It had been hours since they’ve left. So I went down myself to see what was taking them so long, and a group of people were giving my comrades lotus flowers to eat. I had to drag them back to the ship because the flower causes the loss of memory and makes the consumer want to stay on the island forever.
Cyclops-Polyphemus
After sailing, we came upon land. My crew and I hid within a cave, observing the cyclops. When he saw us, we told him where we were from. Since he knew we must have sailed to his island, he was curious as to where we've parked our ship. Of course I would not tell him the location, so I told him the ship was destroyed by Poseidon. The great Polyphemus then ate two of my men. I was greatly appalled. The only way to escape was to go through the tunnel which was blocked by a giant boulder. By no means were my men and I would be able to move it. So I outwitted the cyclops, and sank my sword deep within his eye. When morning came, my men and I sneaked out by tying ourselves to the ram's bellies when they were set out to graze.
